Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding (DUB) with Polymenorrhea

Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding (DUB) is a gynecological condition characterized by abnormal and irregular menstrual bleeding without any apparent structural or organic cause. This disorder typically arises from hormonal imbalances that disrupt the normal regulation of the menstrual cycle. Common during the reproductive years, DUB can manifest as heavy or prolonged periods, erratic menstrual cycles, or intermenstrual spotting. Diagnosis involves the exclusion of other potential causes through various tests such as blood work, pelvic ultrasound, and endometrial biopsy.
