Nephrolithiasis

Nephrolithiasis, commonly known as kidney stones, is a painful condition characterized by the formation of solid crystal masses within the kidney or urinary tract. These stones can vary in size, from as small as a grain of sand to as large as a golf ball, and they can cause excruciating pain as they move through the urinary system.

Suitable Subheading

The most common types of kidney stones are calcium oxalate and calcium phosphate stones, although others like uric acid and struvite stones also occur. Risk factors include dehydration, a diet high in certain minerals, family history, and certain medical conditions.
